Duplicating and modifying WebPages  Job3

The purpose of the job is to have new WebPages that  are aimed to capture specific key words from the internet.

Instructions.

Step 1. Create a new folder "New loans pages" .

Step 2.Open an html editor. go to  http://www.lendinguniverse.com/loans/hard_money_lenders_florida.htm  and copy the entire page page to your editor.

You will now create anew web page from the name on the list . The page will be similar to and a modification of http://www.lendinguniverse.com/loans/hard_money_lenders_florida.htm

(Your actual next webpage will be : "Hard money lenders Alabama" The page name will be the same as file name: "hard_money_lenders_alabama.htm" the text below matches the video demonstration See here:

3 Page modification of H1 -page name . Simply replace the new name with the old name  (The name of the file will come  from a a separate .xls file  "State Hard money Pages" pick the first page name, copy it and  paste it to the H1 location  deleting the existing name "Hard money lenders Florida" and replacing it with "Hard money lenders Texas")

Make sure that the page name is H1. After you change the name it will look like this:

4. Click "File" and "Save as"  the page you just copy to the folder "New loans pages" as .htm file.

4B. Enter the new name in "Page title" and enter the new page name in "File name" and click Save.  e.g the next new name will be "hard money lenders Texas"

5. Click the "Page Properties" and change the wording to fit the new page name in  the "Title", "Page description" and "Keywords, then click OK :

Note:

The Title should the same as H1 heading.

The Description only change is according to H1 heading: "Hundreds of of hard money lenders, brokers and private investors in Texas are biding to arrange fast hard money commercial or residential real estate loan."

The keywords: Change according to H1heading.

6. Modifications of the body text -Change the only few places in the text according to match the page name e.g. from Florida to Texas.  See yellow for locations

7.  Replace all the cities  names

7A.Delete all the cities (all Florida cities) under  " Get hard money lenders' list for real estate located in the Texas,  city of:"

7B.  Go to http://listofcitiesandcounties.com/ find the state that matches the page name e.g. Texas. Click the the state name go to the page http://listofcitiesandcounties.com/list_of_cities_and_counties.php?state=Texas

7C. highlight all the cities  Copy

7D.  paste the cities  in the same cell under  " Get hard money lenders' list for real estate located in the Texas, city of:"  (Instead of the the cities that you deleted in step 7A)

7E.Important step in case of several pages with same State. There are many pages with the same State in the name. e.g There are 9 web pages with the state "Florida". In  a case were there are more than one page with the same state name you should:

7E-1.) copy all the cities to excel spread sheet

7E-2) Calculate the number of cities and divide it by the number of times the same State appears. e.g Florida has 375 cities divide 375 by 9 and you will get 9 groups of cities 8 groups with 40 cities and one group with 55 cities.

7E-3) Copy the first group only . keep the other groups for subsequent uploads (Step14)

Note: It does not have to be exactly divided as long you do not upload the cities to more than one new page. the cities should be unique on each page. 

(Step 7E. does not apply to situation were there is only on e page pages containing the State name like "Idaho hard money")

8. Replace all the Counties Names

8A.. Delete all the counties under "Find private real estate investors lending on equity only and hard money Brokers in Texas,  County of: :"

8B.  Highlight all the Counties on page http://listofcitiesandcounties.com/list_of_cities_and_counties.php?state=Texas   Copy and paste  the counties in the same cell under  "Find private real estate investors lending on equity only and hard money Brokers in Texas,  County of: :"(Instead of the the counties that you deleted in step 9)

9. Replace  the feed on right side.

9a. go to http://www.feedzilla.com/ enter the fields like below

9b. click "Search by category" an Enter keywords the state name thar matches the page title + "loans" e.g "florida loans"  "texas loans"

9c. scroll down and copy the  the script

9D. Use your html editor paste the script into the source code.

10. Review the new page and correct any errors

11. Save the page into a file  name "New loans pages"

12. Repeat steps  3-11 on a new file ""

Important: since the name of the State is the same as the previous file all you will need to change will be the Cities.

13. Email me the 2 files for review. If ok

14. after review continue creating new files (about 150 files)
